Over the past three months of lockdown, our supporters have been incredible. Our branch, and the work we do looking after mistreated animals, is only possible thanks to your support.
Here, we want to highlight three exceptional cases, where local people have made a massive impact. Together they have raised a HUGE £1,306, but more importantly, you have been there for vulnerable animals when it has been needed the most!
If you’re inspired by them and want to give any challenge a go, big or small, we can help! Get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org
26 poems and a poetry evening
Local author KC Finn created poetry for us, challenging herself to write 26 poems in a week. Then, KC hosted a virtual live show for fans, reaching donations from this evening of £130, covering a nearly a week of safety for an animal in need!
A week of running
Using the one hour of exercise in the strictest lockdown period, Catherine built up to a marathon, achieving 26 miles! Along the way she even returned a bunny back to their family, proving that passion for helping animals never sleeps! Catherine raised £536 with sponsorships – that’s just over £20 for every mile, the cost of one day’s care for an animal!
This fundraiser was completely new for us. Andy and Lex, who as cat parents know how much animals improve your lives. With over five hours livestreaming every day, they raised £640! This is enough to cover a whole month of treatment, food, and toys for one animal, an incredible achievement!
